"May this day ahead be lived
with Your will the guide and core"
is prayer that is always answered.
And it does for us so much more.
We avoid the trouble so many
run into when priorities are askew,
when thought is fixed on worldly things,
and not on "Let me do what pleases You."
We see discord and confusion flee,
and the same for discontent,
when putting our Father's wishes first
becomes our sole intent.
This is what dear Jesus did,
and it's what you and I should.
For with God leading the way,
we can do so much more good.
